My Other Projects

As I've grown as an MT, my passion for therapeutic massage has spread into becoming a mentor and an educator. I feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to develop an entry-level massage therapy curriculum as well as creating many continuing education education courses to advance professional practice. These other projects of mine take up much of my time. Despite the need to dedicate much of my creativity and instructional experience to my students, I still make time to provide massage services. Being an MT was and still is my first love. I am most happy when I am able to work with the public and help people to feel their best. These next passions are the reason that my appointment availability it limited to one to two days a week. 

Massage Therapy Program at Brookdale Community College - Lincroft, NJ

Brookdale brought me on as the Massage Therapy Program Coordinator and Lead Instructor in 2019. In this role, I had taken their massage therapy program, extended the training hours, and re-built the curriculum. With each graduating class, I work on building and revising our teaching tools and lesson plans. As of 2025, I have been able to manage 10 classes of students in day, mid-day, and evening programs. I, myself, instruct in the day classes - Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Each program has a maximum enrollment of10 students. Our instructing staff is made of passionate and experienced LMTs. Two of which, I am proud to announce, are past Brookdale MT graduates!

Massage Mastery Institute, LLC - Headquarters in East Brunswick, NJ

In 2023, my longtime friend and now business partner, Tara Paccillo, had approached me with a proposition. She and I had many discussion over the years about business practices and MT education. One such conversation finally had lead to us asking each other the same important questions, "Should we maybe stop complaining and start creating a solution?". That we did! We went straight to work on building our business and in January of 2024, we had our soft launch of Massage Mastery Institute. Our first year was full of learning opportunities for the both of us as we created learning opportunities for LMTs. With Tara's business knowledge, my background in massage education, and a collective 40+ years of therapeutic massage experience between the two of us, we are having the time of our lives building MMI into something spectacular. Our many years of dreamy discussions have actually turned into years of manifestation. We are excited to continue building and improving what we and our growing team at MMI have to offer. I can be found instructing classes online and in-person some weekends and Wednesdays.

Mentorship - Through AMTA and MMI

I am forever a massage therapist first. It has been my life's work and focus since I first learned that it was a profession during a high-school career day in 1998. Throughout my career, I have been able to grow in ways that fresh MT me (circa 2005) would have never imagined. I would never have gotten to where I am today if not for the fantastic mentorship of other professionals. Now, through my experience as an educator, my focus is on helping to guide the next generation of MT leaders who don't quite see themselves as leaders yet. 

Mentorship is a powerful asset to growth in personal and professional practice. What I have to offer the community is 20+ years of experience within the massage therapy industry. I have background and insights into being an employee, a business owner, and an MT educator at both the entry level and in continuing education/professional development. If I had to say one thing to anyone searching for guidance, it is to NEVER give up, ALWAYS keep dreaming, and BELIEVE in your abilities.
